Booking & pricing
How much does it cost to rent EMBER?
Our event packages start at DKK 399 per person (cocktail course) and go up to DKK 1,299 per person (Christmas party). Venue-only rental (dry hire) is priced per date and duration. During our launch period May–August 2026, we offer the full Signature experience at DKK 999 per person with minimum 35 guests.
How far in advance should we book?
Popular dates such as December Christmas parties, summer parties and wedding weekends are typically booked 6-9 months in advance. Weekday and shorter events can often be booked 2-4 weeks ahead. Email us — we'll tell you what's available.
Do we need to pay a deposit?
Yes, we charge a 25% deposit at booking, with the remainder invoiced after the event. The deposit confirms the date.
How do I get a quote?
Fill in the contact form with date, guest count, type of event and any special wishes. We'll come back with a no-obligation proposal within 24 hours on weekdays.
Is VAT included in the prices?
All indicative per-person prices are excluding VAT. The final quote will show both ex-VAT and inc-VAT figures.
Food & drinks
What is Ember Social Dining?
Social Dining is EMBER's signature format: three courses around the table where food is shared and the conversation flows. A modern approach to corporate dinners, weddings and milestone celebrations where the meal itself becomes the experience.
Can the menu be adjusted for vegetarian, vegan or allergens?
Yes, all menus can be adjusted. Tell us about your guests' dietary needs in good time and we'll compose the menu so no one is limited.
Can we bring our own food or drinks?
For Signature, After Work, Christmas and Cocktail Course packages, EMBER provides all food and drinks. For venue-only rental (dry hire), you can bring your own catering — or use our partners.
What is included in the open bar?
The open bar in beer, wine and water includes selected beers, wines and water for the duration the package covers. Cocktails are typically selected signature cocktails for a defined period (e.g. 2 hours from 21:00–23:00). Extension and full open cocktail bar can be added.
What kind of wine and cocktails do you serve?
Our wine list is curated by our sommelier — primarily European wines in the mid- to premium-tier. Cocktails are made by experienced bartenders from Copenhagen's cocktail scene and can be specifically tailored to your occasion.
Capacity & setup
How many guests can EMBER accommodate?
EMBER is 230 m². We optimise for three setups: open room (110-120 guests), reception layout (90-110 guests), and formal setup with long tables (70-90 guests). The setup is chosen with you based on the event format.
Is there a minimum guest count?
Signature and Christmas Party packages require minimum 25 guests. The launch offer requires minimum 35 guests. After Work and Cocktail Course have lower minimums (typically 8-15 guests depending on package).
Where is EMBER located?
EMBER is at Adelgade 11, 1304 Copenhagen K — five minutes on foot from Kongens Nytorv, Strøget and Amalienborg. Central with good public transport.
Is there parking nearby?
Public parking at Hauser Plads (200 m) and Kongens Nytorv. EMBER doesn't have its own parking, but the Metro to Kongens Nytorv is a two-minute walk away.
Is the venue shared with other events?
No. Every booking is exclusive rental of the entire venue — just you behind the black gates. We host one event at a time.
Technical facilities & accessibility
What AV equipment is included?
Standard packages include sound system (PA + microphones) and lounge zone. Projector, stage, additional microphones, DJ booth or specialised AV can be added. Tell us about your technical requirements and we'll set it up.
Is there WiFi for presentations?
Yes, EMBER has stable business-grade WiFi with separate networks for guests and operations. For larger product launches we can upgrade bandwidth.
Is EMBER wheelchair accessible?
EMBER has step-free access from the street and wide passages. Toilets are accessible. Contact us if you have specific accessibility requirements so we can prepare the setup.
Can the venue be live-streamed?
Yes, we have experience with hybrid events and can offer live streaming through partners. Brief us early about your setup — ideally 4 weeks before the event.
Cancellation & changes
What happens if we need to cancel?
Cancellation terms are in your contract. As a rule: 90+ days before event the deposit is refundable minus an admin fee. 30-90 days: 50% of total price. Less than 30 days: full price.
Can we change the guest count?
Yes, the count can be adjusted up to 14 days before the event. Final guest count is confirmed 7 days before, and that is what gets invoiced (with +/- 5% tolerance).
What if the weather is bad?
EMBER is an indoor venue, so weather doesn't affect the event itself. If you're concerned about guests' transport in storms or snow, we can discuss alternative dates.
